Downtown Cairo, known here to Egyptians as 'Wust Al Balad', is a place which captures Egypt's history since Muhammad Ali's western rule..the buildings in the area are influenced by the french renaissance architecture..yes! even the french had a little effect on us!
 Everything there looks vintage, check out the cars! We Egyptians refer to the classic beatle as 'Zuba'!! Go Hippies!  This here is the Egyptian Centre of Cutlure and Arts Hall..artistic i'd say!!  -deeb- all rights reserved Trackbacks
